A wide selection of sockets and plugs are available for sale. They are dedicated to low-voltage signals up to 250 V AC/10. Models made of nickel-plated brass, stainless steel and plastic are available. The IEC 309 system is responsible for the correct connection of circuits with different voltages. However, it is worth emphasizing that only plugs and portable sockets with the same rated voltage should be connected.
For cables with cross-sections from 0.25 mm2 to 0.5 mm2, 0.75 mm2 to 1.5 mm2 and optionally up to 2.5 mm2, crimped connections can be used. Spring clamps without screws are only available in selected variants. Flange plugs can be directly mounted to the housing of the selected device. This is due to the fact that they are equipped with an M20 x 1.5 or 1/2″ NPT metric thread. Ex connectors made of metal do not require additional certification. It is worth emphasizing that all exlink products can be connected and disconnected during operation. An additional advantage is the fact that performing work activities does not require a permit to work under voltage.
