AUTOMATION WITH WIRE CONTINUITY CONTROL (ZK) The preferred solution for
extensive and complex industrial facilities and/or office and public buildings where the building's power supply is temporarily turned off for testing purposes
is not possible and/or very difficult.
The solution uses as its main element a circuit breaker or disconnector installed in a dedicated housing equipped with a shunt release.
The increase in safety in this solution consists in the use of the MKIN-PWP control module, which immediately after detecting damage to the cable between the actuating device and the executive device will send a signal about the damage to the superior system, e.g. SSP and/or BMS.
In this solution, the signaling and control element is a dedicated MKIN-PWP control and supervision module, whose task is to control the continuity of the cable to the actuating device, control the undervoltage or shunt release (option), count the delay time to shutdown in the case of cooperation with UPS systems and the enabling input for switching off, cooperation with the integrator or control panel allowing for remote switching off of the power supply from the level of the integrator/control panel. The MKIN-PWP module additionally has outputs performing the following functions: turn-off signal to the next section of the breaker, activation of the actuator and signaling device, turn-off signal to UPS systems, PWP failure signal (no power supply, connection failure to the UU PWP).
